Get Government Supply Contracts

Youth can now get government contracts under the newly launched Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) reservation guidelines. That’s right! Contracts up to UGX30,000,000 are now available for youth in business and with less stringent requirements. These guidelines were announced after extensive advocacy by the National Youth Council leadership and the Parliamentary Forum on Youth Affairs. Access 30% of PDM funds for Youth

Did you know that the government of Uganda is implementing the Parish Development Model as a grassroots program to increase production and jumpstart development at the Parish level? The National Youth Council working with partners was able to advocate for 30% of PDM funds to be for Youth. Yes! That means youth per parish can access upto UGX 30,000,000 per financial year through the PDM SACCO in your rural villages. Find out more About the PDM here.

The Government Emyooga Fund

The Presidential Initiative on Job and wealth creation, Emyooga targets people operating in any of 18 vocations listed for support and organised at the Parish level for aggregation at the constituency level. The Youth Livelihood Program Funds

The Youth Livelihood Programme (YLP) is Government of Uganda financed programme designed as one of the interventions of Government in response to the high unemployment rate and poverty among the youth in the country. Access Higher Education with The Students Loan Scheme

The Ministry of Education and Sports implements Financing for Higher Education studies for Ugandans through student loans. This helps already admitted students into Higher education institutions like universities and tertiary institutions to borrow money to clear their tuition and other needs and pay after their education period.
